Karen Flowers is the founder, lead stylist, and educator behind Salon Flourish. With over 20 years of experience, she’s known not only for her mastery in color, cutting, extensions, and modern styling—but also for her deep commitment to mentorship and education.

A South Bay native, Karen began her career at just 15 and became a licensed cosmetologist while still in high school. By 20, she launched her first business training future stylists, helping thousands pass their state board exams with a 98% success rate.

Her passion for education and transformation has guided every step since—from assisting in top salons to working as an Olaplex advocate and leading advanced training programs across Southern California. Her approach is hands-on, heart-led, and rooted in excellence.

Her dream was simple: to create a space where stylists are supported and clients feel truly seen. And in 2015, that dream came to life with the opening of Salon Flourish—an inviting, education-driven salon where craft, confidence, and community come together.
